Sunday Joke!

"I haven't left my house in days. I watch the news
channels incessantly. All the news stories are about the
election;

All the commercials are for Viagra and Cialis.

Election, erection, election, erection - - either way
it's about getting screwed!". . . . . Bette Midler

Man Box Build!

Dave's working on the deck of the truck.  Jim is welding the sides.  Off to dinner tonight.  Might whined, yes whined this up Monday?
 The beginning.
 Dave's continuing on the deck.
 More done on the box.
 Shop stuff.
Sides are getting put on!  Yippie.
 Dave's got the deck done.

Jim's still at it!

Truck Conversion.

Dave needs to extend the frame so the 5th wheel can turn without hitting the "man box."
 Extending the frame.

Luc waits in the car.  Are they ever going to be done?
The mastermind at work.

 The 5th wheel plate.

Dave welding the part where the 5th wheel hitch will set on.

 Jim welding.

The 5th wheel hitch is in!

Made it to Kimball.

Dave is working on Babe so Luc and I are on our own.  I found this really cool house all decorated for Halloween!  There is also a great mansion.

On our way to Kimball NE.

We drove to Scottsbluff to pick up some steel that Dave ordered from Aulick Ind.  They had quite a shop.  The area around Scottsbluff is really pretty.  It is on the Oregon Trail.  It would be fun to do some exploring around there sometime.

Finally we are out of Fort Welikit!

It was an interesting summer.  As far as work: I worked Sunday's 12-8, Dave worked Monday and Tuesday 8-5.  Dave stained all summer.  He stained everything that was WOOD.  He went thru 42 gallons!  Later posts will cover this.  Back to the truck and leaving SD!
Paul and Sandy boss man and boss lady!
 Leaving our summer home.
 Dave driving.
 Our new setup!
 We stopped to see Del.
We were sooo lucky to get snow at Jo's in Wheatland.
