Thanks Thomas & Sudie for a great time. Alright you two back to work!! Dave was excited to get to Maggie Girl (MG). We again camped at Phipps Park. We are 3200 miles from Elephant Butte, NM where we started this trip. We had been here at Stuart for 8 days. Dave has been working hard everyday getting MG ready to go. A new water pump, that fits in your hand, costs over $600.00. We are trying our best to help the economy..:) We have also had just a fantastic time dealing with insurance companies for MG. Our current policy was up for renewel but they would only cover us up to 125 miles off the coast of the US. Well, it's 50+ miles to cross to the Bahama's. That didn't leave much cruising space for over 700 islands. Dave has charted 250 miles that he wants to see. So Dave was looking for other insurance carriers and found Boat US. They will cover the whole trip but will not let MG sit in Florida or any other hurricane state over the winter. So while we are floating around hopefully we will figure out what to do about that issue. Later, later, later.
