Jekyll Island would be a great place for a family trip. The beach was nice. There were plenty of stores for shopping and a lot of history. The Jekyll Island Club, founded in 1886 was a winter retreat for America's elite families such as the Rockefeller, Vanderbilt and Pulitzer's. It was their private island at the time. Now
the rest of us can go there. The Georgia Sea Turtle Center was so cool. We got to thru the hospital. The neatest guy was named Griffin. We saw several loggerhead turtle in the Bahamas.
