Sorry for being soooo buzy but this is why....








My sister says get rid of that guy in the suspenders. Isn't he cute? So the reason I have been too buzy to post entries, clean the house, do laundry or cook is that Phil and I have been creating chenille vests using the blind leading the blind process. He he.....

Here is what you do.
1.) Pick your homespun fabrics. Sew some sample combo. Pick your favorite.
2.) Sew the 4-6 layers of fabric together exactly 5/8" apart.
3.) Cut all but the bottom 2 layers.
4.) Wash and dry.
5.) Cut out the final vest size.
6.) Sew final trim around the whole garment.

That doesn't sound so bad now does it? We put in 12 hours 2 days in a row. Then we lost track of the hours. We were the subject of many ideas and laughs as we hit the highs and lows of the project.

It's not completely done. There's a few things to do yet.
