The female judge had a great sense of humor. She chatted with most people a bit before handing down her sentence. She knocked Dave's ticket from $144.00 to $125.00 and if he is a good boy for 6 months it will not go on his record. Sunday we got Jaz's jasmine plants put into the ground. We used the rock we carried from NM, that I did not get tumbled, to surround her plants. Minnesota Cindy made a very nice flag for the site. She put Jaz's photo on the front and a very nice saying on the back. It was such a special gift. Dave made the wooden sign.
Our hearts ache for you guys - what a nice memorial. Maybe you guys should make a DVD "Tribute to Jaz" and share with the rest of us at Lakeside. She was a very special companion and touched many, ourselves included. Glad your court date went well. Linda/Newell
