Plus yesterday was my sister Donna's birthday. Happy Bday!
So to reflect on 25 years hum...... Well things just aren't oiled as well as they used to be. There are more creaks and moans, bad moans, not good moans!!! The mind doesn't seem to work as good either. For example. Our toaster broke and in our house that is a bad thing. Dave has toast every morning. Custer, SD has a pitifull, yes pitiful Pamida. I have never seen such a crappy store. So off to town I go for a new toaster. I had several to choose from. I get it home and all the toast you put in it burns. I finally decide to look in it and find the the center coils are not even lighting up. Boy, that was a great buy. Well guess I better take it back. That's not a bad idea because I haven't bought Dave's anniversary card yet. So I get back home to start dinner and DAMN, I forgot the card. So Tuesday and Wednesday morning I notice Dave rummaging thru things. And guess what? He bought my card 2 weeks ago and can't remember where he put it. So we exchanged invisible cards. That was a new one! We had a great day! Dave had made a doc appt. in Rapid for his ears. I thought that was a splendid idea! After 25 years he goes to get his ears checked. Yes, progress can be made! I'm soooo funny>>>>o-:) I told him he should just give me the doc $$ cus I knew he couldn't hear.....
After the I do't know what it is doc appt. we spent the day with Gary & Carol. Luc spent the day with Cody. Luc just wishes Cody was a girl. We went to lunch and shopped a bit downtown Rapid and had an ice cream cone. It was just a pleasant day.
Here are two nice cards we received .
Linda's card.
Carol's card.
Both are beautiful and handmade. Thank you!
Then in the mail we received a special baggie with a surprise from Dave's sister Mary.
Mary's note: I've been saving these for a long time. How many people give matches away anymore? Yup that dates us. Thanks Mary. We needed some matches!
We have received a few more cards. Thanks everyone! Love ya all more than you know!!!
Congratulations on 25 wonderful years. The old joke 10 for Dave and 15 for you. Many more in your future I hope.
