The last few weeks.

It's all Linda's fault.  She has me feeling guilty for not doing the blog.  The last few weeks have been very busy.  We've switched trucks.  A new 5th wheel hitch took forever to get to us.  We were sitting at Custer waiting for it.  In the mean time Dave is building a box for the back of the truck.  We decided that brother Jim would weld it together for us.
We drove to Watford City, ND to sell the old truck & we drove to Paxico, KS to buy the new one.

 I found this windmill in town.

Babe parked at Fort Welikit, Custer SD where we spent the summer.

We finally get the hitch. It was shipped from Jerry's in Phoenix.  

It's our 3rd hitch from him.

            Paul uses his handy skidsteer to lift the hitch for us.

Then Dave & I had a blond moment and forgot how to hook up the 5th wheel.  We got lucky as to how it fell! I never want to hear that crashing KABOOM sound again!
