Sunday Words of Wisdom!

I'm about to shut the computer down so.......

      Hi,

We have a plan so it will be fun to see if we accomplish it.
We leave with the dawn tomorrow.  Yes, I will get up early.  We will spend tomorrow night and Monday night with Cliffie & Karen in Kearney, NE.  Tuesday we leave for Council Bluffs to get the EGR valve repaired on Babe.  I have made camp reservations at Lake Manawa State Park which is at exit 47 (I-29S )while the truck repair is at exit 42.  Not bad huh?  Wednesday off to West Des Moines to visit relatives.  Reservation are made again at Walnut Woods State Park.  Picking walnuts is prohibited!  Thursday on to Marion and Squaw Creek Park.  It is a beautiful place to stay.  We will see relatives for several days.  Friday or Saturday we will take the Honda to pick up Sarah.  For some reason the breeders will not send pictures.  I guess they are.......?
Those are the plans.  Hope ya all are having fun!

I just caught up my blog.  Enjoy the posts!

A black kid asks his mother,   "Mama, what's a Democracy?"

"Well, son, that's when white folks work every day so we can get all our benefits, you knows like free cell phones for each family member, rent subsidy, food stamps, WIC, free healthcare, utility subsidy, & the list goes on & on, you knows".

"But mama, don't the white people get pissed off about that?"

"Sure they do, that's called racism!"

(Never more simply explained)

Toad Stool State Park.

It is a cool place!
We left the restaurant and headed to Toad Stool.  Gary & Carol headed home.

Yes it was a cold day!

Meeting Gary & Carol at Fort Robinson.

I figured it would be 1/2 way for us to meet at Fort Robinson.  We have been by there a fair amount and had never stopped.  I always thought it would be a great place for a family reunion. We met Gary & Carol there. We went thru a couple buildings, drove around a bit.  Crazy Horse was stabbed in the back and died on the property. After that we went to the strangest place out in the boonies for lunch.  How Carol finds theses places?????
Hey Phil here's some beading ideas!

Dave, Carol and Gary!

We are following G/C around.

Cody in the back! Damn we left Luc with Jo.

Crazy Horse's monument.

Off to lunch.  Where are we going?

Reminded me of Gail & Roger's badlands.

This look like it might be the place.

Giddy up!

Wonder what we did to land in here?

What the hell is this?

Wyoming.

WY sunset.

This is a toy chest. We bought it at American Furniture.  We put it
between Dave & my seat so the dogs can be up there with us.  The problem is
we took a large, nice walking area and filled it.  We'll see how it works.
In the picture it is sitting on the bed.

The doors that Sam made for us.

Water witching.  I guess there is a well that was capped at this spot.

More cups.  I have 9 done.  The are my first ones made by myself.
I understand now about the cup being to thick.  I threw one away.  You couldn't see
thru it.  Who wants one?  I will continue this summer to look for more cups!

Joan's bent chainsaw.  Dave told her not to do it!

Puff & Luc.

Jo's homemade baskets.  Nice!

Jo still uses the typewriter Dave had in HS.  She writes to all her sisters and
some friends too!

I also made a bunch of new cards since I had been here.

Whittington Center to Loveland CO. and the gun vault move .

I was playing with the camera in Colorado Springs.  I will always love Pikes Peak.

This was thru the yellow tinted window of Babe.

Me and my great idea of golf balls for moving the gun vault worked nice!

Extenda boom fork lift work great but the $300.00 to rent hurt!

It's in!
