We went off to explore yesterday. Isn't that what is sooo much fun about a new area? The town that we can see along the shore, across the bay and thru the woods. Oh, I got lost there for a minute in the tale....hum. Anyway, as I may have said before the mountain that stands so high across the bay is Mt Washington. The town along the beach under the mountain is Hoodsport. Yesterday we drove thru Hoodsport up to Lake Cushman. There were a few waterfalls. One was 75'. I bought back some driftwood to decorate camp. We found Hoodsport Trail with an easy .5 loop or a longer 1.5 loop. Poor Mac just can't do much anymore. The short loop made him ache. We are in an area that is hard to see the forest thru the trees. We had a difficult time finding a decent picture of the lake but perseverance prevailed. I hope the US can persevere too! The sinking feeling in my stomach just won't go away seeing what the country is turning into!
