Travel day 2. Woodland Park here we are!
We left Phil & Ken about 12:30. We had snow showers on & off all day. It was nothing really. I think it was putting on a show for us. The first few pictures are on the way to Woodland Park. We pulled in to our summer campground with the snow falling. We met both Jan & Jill, the campground owners, and Jack & Danielle, our work camping buddies, for the summer. All seemed very nice. We selected our site & setup. As we were setting up a fox ran by us. We found out that there are 3 babies plus Mom & Dad. We went for a walk (after I dug out my winter coat & gloves) to check out the park. It is pretty good size. There were probably 40 camper that were left on a site over the winter. A lot of sat. dishes left standing. There are two levels of sites. The lower level was a couple of aspen groves, tent sites and a building, with an open front, that would work well for Richard's cowboy poetry. We are at Les & Kathy's now. Off to Jo's in the morning. Burrr....it's cold!!!!

Absolutely beautiful, and it'll be a great summer place. Meanwhile, stay warm! I'll probably be begging you to mail me some cool air along about July.
