Mustard fields. This is the second time we have looked for Kevin's cabin. The other day we did some breaking and entering at a gate/fence. I decided we better get out of there before we got shot at. So back to the drawing board with this try. It was quite a day!
We are going down there to Kevin's cabin. Kevin is Ken's cousin.
The cabin. It was 5 miles of wonderful road to get back in here. There is NO way the 5th wheel will ever get in here! This cabin was homesteaded by Kevin's Grandpa back in the day. They have 130 acres back here.
Dave climbed up for a birds eye view.
Can you find the cabin?
The road in and out.
Redneck wind chimes. Nice Kevin!
The kids have found this road.
The vegetation seemed to attack us at times on this great road!
See, it's a great road. That's a road?
Ken and Phil's truck could not make it across the creek so we climbed in our Jeep! Whew we made it back. Now that wasn't so bad
Swew… we made it back out of there alive.
Only ears to be seen.
We stopped in the big town of Flora on our way back.
Outside of Flora.
Does this dust make by truck look big?
Beautiful!
See that road in the middle of the photo? That's above Troy, been there!
The town of Flora, OR.
A town resident and his stuff.
Here's the beer sampler. Hey George, there's a 10% beer but the barmaid said it's a lie. It's really 11%.
People come in and go to the cooler and get their mug. Then, I haven't seen this before, there is a mug cooling device on the counter that cools off the mug again. Yum, cool glass & cold beer.
Dave & I cleaned up our side of the sampler. Come on Phil hurry up!
The first elk babies.
